Remissions
The past five days were really great. I had a remission period of my MS. I could walk easier and get out of bed right away! I still had to walk with crutches and could go only very short distances, but the ease and lack of pain was really great. I think this grace period is coming to a close however, as my flexibility is diminishing again. Will advise as changes occur.

Music?
I should also try and write music again. My four track recorder waits patiently for me to turn it on and plug my synth into it. It is time to stop letting my music equipment collect dust and take charge of my life- nobody is going to do it for me.
Further Explorations
I have begun doing a short series of pilates exercises before bed time. Spasticity (where your legs straighten and cramp like mad for several moments) still occurs, but so far my general flexibility in the morning has increased and my soreness decreased. Hopefully with a each passing week I can add another exercise to the routine as I get stronger.
I feel the hankering to write a novel. I have no idea what about, but my typewriter is beckoning me to open its case. The poor thing still works but could use a cleaning, oiling, and a few parts replaced. One day I will find a place that can help restore my 1949 Smith Corona Sterling to its former glory.

The situation as of now
Its been years since I bothered to use his, I keep forgetting it even exists! Of course, I doubt anyone has actually read it so I am basically speaking to myself as it were. In the time since my last post in 2008 a great many things have occurred. The number one being my diagnosis with MS on the 2nd of October, and my doctors subsequent incompetence to refer me ANY form of treatment. Even getting out of bed is difficult now, and had I been treated right away this may not have become the case...
